Downton Christmas Give A Way
Here we are again, another Holiday Give A Way !

I hope you all were able to see the Downton Movie,
It was Beautiful and fun to remember previous episodes leading to the movie !!
So I will have a Downton Christmas Give a Way !!!
A few years ago I decorated a Tree for the Turner Dodge Mansion, Lansing Michigan, and I made several ornaments
with the Downton Theme,
So I will be giving away a Downton Candy Cone Ornament and a pair of my Wool Mittens made from recycled sweaters !!!
Downton Scones, of course,
Produce
1/2 cup Cranberries, dried
1/3 cup Dried apricots
Refrigerated
2 Eggs
Baking & Spices
2 1/2 cups All-purpose flour Mix all dry together
1 tsp Allspice Cut butter into dry
1 tsp Baking powder Add nuts, cranberries,apricots
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Cloves wisk eggs, make well in bottom of bowl ,
1 tbsp Crystallized sugar, large put eggs in, gradually mix to dry adding cream and water as needed
1/2 cup Granulated sugar to make wet dough,
1 tsp Nutmeg Put flour on board, kneed dough
1/4 tsp Salt slightly, don't over kneed
Nuts & Seeds Roll out , cut with a cutter shape or
1/4 cup Walnuts or pecans with a knife
Dairy Bake 350 for 20 minutes
1/2 cup Butter, unsalted
3/4 cup Whipping cream
Liquids
1 tbsp Water

Here is a very simple decoration Right?
Then why don't I remember this for any Holiday
when I need something fast?
I always think I will remember that simple idea,
However when the time comes I don't, or I don't
have time to check my pinterest boards or those
endless snips of magazine pictures !
Well , here is a reminder that I looked up for you !
The variations are endless, use ribbon, stick red berries
in the bow, stick a little candy cane in the bow,
Better yet fill the whole can full of Candy Canes !!!!
Use my "go to" Fabri-Tac Glue !
